Since the Department of Theatre, Film and Television moved into its new home in September 2009 we have staged a series of early modern plays in the department’s scenic stage theatre.
The productions have been led by Prof Mike Cordner, and have involved students and staff from the department, as well as a range of professional designers. Staged in modern dress, these productions tackle rarely-produced early modern plays which feel fresh and resonant on the modern stage.
Each of the productions has been filmed, and been made freely available. Since 2013 each production has had its own website, but I have collated some of the resources here for ease of access.
